With over 20 years of experience, Southern California–based cellist Sean is a prolific performer, recording artist, and educator. He currently serves as principal cellist of the Bellflower Symphony Orchestra, assistant principal cellist of both the La Mirada Symphony and the Southland Symphony, and section cellist with the Whittier Regional Symphony and the La Verne Symphony. An accomplished chamber musician, Sean has performed string quartet repertoire by Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Dvořák, Verdi, Shostakovich, Borodin, and many others. His versatility extends beyond classical music, with extensive experience recording and performing with contemporary artists in genres including rock, country, Latin, and jazz. Sean is also an active lower strings coach, working with ensembles such as the Valley Christian High School Orchestra in Cerritos and the Millikan High School Orchestra in Long Beach. He studied under acclaimed cellists Alexander Zhiroff and Manon Robertshaw, refining his artistry and deepening his dedication to the craft.
