Exam Preparation

Preparing for a music evaluation and taking an exam is a rewarding experience for many students. The end-goal of earning a certificate is very motivational and inspiring. Students work much harder to advance in their musical studies. Annual assessments provide feedback on students’ accomplishments and shape their well-rounded musical education. Understanding of music theory is emphasized in these examinations and is an essential part of developing the ability to perform with sensitivity, expression, style, and confidence. Our teachers are experienced in preparing students for the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM), the Certificate of Merit (CM), and more. Applause Music Academy students have the opportunity to participate in musical Examinations, Competitions, Festivals, State and National Conventions.
