Hello! I’m Philip and it’s never too late to pick up an instrument and start learning!

My musical journey officially started at the age of 15. I started taking piano lessons then and shortly after my friends and I discovered FL Studio, a digital audio workstation, where I utilized what I was learning and started to produce instrumental music! At age 17, I was the lead singer of a band my friends and I started. At 18, I bought my first guitar and fell in love with it!

A few years later, I found myself at Life Pacific University studying Worship, Arts, and Media. During my time there, I further trained on piano, guitar, and voice and learned the fundamentals of practical musicianship and extensive music theory. I learned more about music production and songwriting and my love for music grew! My favorite chords are major 7s and 9s and I love when dissonant chords find their resolution!

I graduated with my B.A. in 2022 and have been steadily creating and releasing songs since. My passion for music is ever growing and I am excited to teach anyone who would love to explore and develop a musical journey. I believe with the right amount of encouragement and attention, we will all succeed!
