James is an accomplished cellist with over 11 years of performance experience in a variety of settings, including solo recitals, chamber ensembles, and orchestras. He currently performs with the Southern California Philharmonic, the Azusa Pacific University Symphony Orchestra, and the 4/4 Quartet. His musical journey began at Granada Middle School, where he was selected for the 2020 SCSBOA All-Southern String Orchestra. At La Serna High School, he continued to excel, serving as principal cellist of the CYOSC Symphony Orchestra for three consecutive years. James is now pursuing a Bachelor of Music in Cello Performance at Azusa Pacific University, where he continues to hone his artistry and share his passion for music through dynamic performances.
