Doris has been a violin and music instructor, for over 25 years, in S CA. She is a member of MTAC (Music Teachers Association of CA), and a string adjudicator for CM (Certificate of Merit, music students adjudications program), with MTAC. She went to University of Oregon, and studied with Joseph Genualdi, who’s a pupil of the violin master legend Ivan Galamian. She had completed her B.M. In Violin Performance, and chamber music, from San Francisco State University. She had studied with Daniel Kolbialka, Violinist with the San Francisco Symphony, and Violin faculty at SFSU. She also studied with Frederick Lifsitz, Violin II with the Alexander String Quartet, internationally acclaimed string quartet, also in residence at SFSU, also Violin faculty of SFSU. Doris is an active violinist, with OC of OC (Orchestra Collective of Orange County), Southland Symphony and Chorus Orchestra (Ontario, CA), Temecula Valley Symphony, Coachella Valley Symphony, Whittier Regional Symphony, Bellflower Symphony, Four Seasons Orchestra, Claremont Symphony, and La Verne Symphony. She is also currently a CA commissioned Notary Public/Certified loan signing agent, bilingual (in Mandarin Chinese), with a numerous 5 Stars Google and Yelp Business Reviews.
