Ms. Sage is an accomplished vocalist and music educator with a Master’s Degree in Music Performance and a passion for helping students grow in confidence, creativity, and musical skill. Her background includes experience in classical, opera, musical theatre, pop, jazz, and contemporary music, giving her a versatile foundation as both a performer and teacher.
Throughout her musical journey, Ms. Sage has had opportunities to study and perform in a variety of settings, including operatic productions, concerts, galas, and special events. Her experience across both classical and contemporary styles allows her to introduce students to a wide range of music while helping each student discover and develop their own unique voice.
As a teacher, Ms. Sage focuses on building strong musical foundations while creating lessons that are encouraging, engaging, and tailored to each student’s goals and interests. Her teaching incorporates healthy vocal technique, music theory, sight-reading, musicianship, and performance skills, giving students the tools they need to become confident and independent musicians.
Ms. Sage believes that music education can have a lasting impact beyond the lesson room, helping students develop confidence, creativity, independence, and self-expression. She strives to create a positive environment where students feel comfortable exploring their abilities, taking on new challenges, and enjoying the process of making music.
Known for her outgoing and energetic personality, Ms. Sage brings enthusiasm and encouragement to each lesson and enjoys helping students work toward meaningful musical goals while developing a genuine love of music.
Outside of music, Ms. Sage enjoys tabletop games, attending community events, and discovering new restaurants. She believes that music should be filled with joy, creativity, and fun, and she looks forward to helping each student grow throughout their own musical journey.
