Piano, Violin, Viola
Mr. Tony teaches piano, violin, and viola to students of all ages and experience levels. He holds undergraduate degrees in psychology and music performance and enjoys blending concepts from both fields to create thoughtful, engaging lessons.
One of Mr. Tony’s favorite aspects of teaching is tailoring lessons to each student’s individual learning style. By incorporating principles of psychology, he helps students build confidence, stay motivated, and make steady, meaningful progress toward their musical goals.
With string students, Mr. Tony focuses on developing healthy posture, improved tone quality, and greater ease of playing. In piano lessons, he especially enjoys guiding students as they gain independence, take on more challenging repertoire, and discover just how capable they are as musicians.
Outside the classroom, Mr. Tony enjoys writing short stories, playing games, and learning about bugs and other small creatures that he finds fascinating.
