Ms. Paige is a woodwind instructor with a wide-ranging musical background and a passion for helping students discover the joy of music. She has been playing woodwind instruments since middle school and has participated in a variety of ensembles, including orchestral, marching, and jazz settings. Jazz performance holds a special place for her, as it often allowed her to perform on multiple instruments within a single piece.
While flute is Ms. Paige’s primary instrument, she enjoys the unique voice and versatility of all woodwinds and appreciates how each instrument shines across different genres. Her goal as a teacher is to share her love of music with students and help them find a sense of accomplishment and their own musical niche.
Ms. Paige’s musical journey was sparked by an early love of video games and game music, which introduced her to orchestral sounds and inspired her to begin band. She continues to enjoy listening to video game music and playing games, now with a deeper appreciation for the artistry behind the soundtracks. She also enjoys setting personal musical goals and encourages her students to do the same, reminding them that learning is a lifelong process.
Ms. Paige looks forward to guiding students with patience and encouragement as they work toward their goals and discover how music can be meaningful, fun, and uniquely personal.
