Mr. Philip is a musician and educator with over 13 years of experience playing and practicing a variety of instruments. He began his musical journey on piano, where one of his earliest performances featured a well-known classical work that remains a favorite piece he enjoys revisiting for fun. He later expanded into guitar, which led him to songwriting, singing, and performing original music in live settings.
In addition to performing, Mr. Philip has experience in music production and enjoys working with digital audio workstations to record and produce songs. His creative background across performance and production allows him to bring a well-rounded perspective into his lessons.
As a teacher, Mr. Philip’s favorite part of teaching is exploring the world of music alongside his students. He believes that learning an instrument goes beyond mastering a single song—it’s about developing a lasting appreciation for music that students can carry with them throughout their lives. Whether students are learning seasonal favorites on piano, tackling challenging chord progressions on guitar, or building confidence in their singing, he encourages passion, curiosity, and creative expression.
One of Mr. Philip’s most meaningful performance experiences was sharing an original song he wrote, an experience that reinforced his belief that music is meant to be shared. He views performances as opportunities for growth, joy, and connection, and strives to help students feel empowered as musicians from the moment they begin their musical journey.
