Mr. David is a guitarist, percussionist, and bass instructor with a strong background in performance and music education. He has been an active musician within Southern California for several years and brings a well-rounded skill set shaped by collegiate study, ensemble performance, and personal practice.
During his academic training, Mr. David held leadership and section roles in a variety of large and small ensembles, including orchestral, band, and percussion-focused groups. His performance experience includes featured solo and ensemble works that required a high level of technical precision, rhythmic accuracy, and musical expression. These experiences strengthened his appreciation for complex rhythms, melodic structure, and collaborative music-making.
As a teacher, Mr. David enjoys helping students develop strong rhythmic foundations and musical confidence. In percussion lessons, he focuses on groove, timing, and engaging repertoire that makes learning fun and accessible. On guitar, he enjoys guiding beginning students through essential skills and helping them build solid technique. Bass is one of his favorite instruments to teach, as he loves introducing students to its role as the rhythmic and harmonic foundation of music. He is dedicated to supporting students of all musical backgrounds and experience levels.
Outside of music, Mr. David is an avid sports fan. He enjoys attending sporting events, watching games, and collecting sports memorabilia in his free time.
