Mr. Anthony is a multi-instrumentalist and educator who brings a wide range of performance experience into his teaching. One standout moment in his musical journey was performing at a large music festival as part of a band, where he played drums, trumpet, and provided vocals. That experience—and many performances that followed—helped him develop strong stage presence, versatility, and a deep appreciation for collaborative music-making. Along the way, he expanded his skills by exploring additional instruments, including clarinet and trombone, to experiment with different sounds and musical roles.
Mr. Anthony teaches drums, trumpet, clarinet, trombone, and introductory piano. As a teacher, he especially enjoys helping students discover their musical preferences, refine pieces that initially feel challenging, and experience the confidence that comes from mastering a groove, phrase, or musical passage. He values collaboration and considers it a privilege to be part of each student’s musical journey.
Outside of teaching, Mr. Anthony enjoys exploring many different styles of music and is always curious about new sounds and artists. He also enjoys reading biographies and philosophy, discovering new instruments, and engaging with creative media in his free time. These interests continually shape his perspective as both a musician and an educator.
